AbstractSoftware retro directive tracking system of energy transmission for Micro Aerial Vehicle called MAV has been studied. This system has the battery charge of MAV without landing and take-off enabled. The system is consisted of three subsystems; detecting phase difference system using pilot signal, power transmission system using phased array antenna, and rectenna system. The direction of transmitter antenna was detected in 2D in the detecting phase difference system while the antenna was circling over the system and transmitting pilot signal for simulation of an MAV flight. The accuracy of detecting direction was not over 2 deg. This value was enough because the beam width of the power transmission system is 9 deg. And flexible rectenna made from polymide film and copper foil was developed. The weight of the new rectenna was one-tenth of previous one and it had lower air resistance. Moreover the flexible rectenna was operated with high efficiency when the resistance which is equal to an electric motor for the MAV model was loaded and received enough power for running of it.
