AbstractIn this paper, we focused on reduction of reflected shock wave generated between two bodies in hypersonic flow field. To investigate reflected shock wave, we conducted wind tunnel experiments using TSTO models; the one has a rounded nosed circular cylinder configuration, the other has slender body.The slender body has three cross section configuration types(circle, triangle and square). From the results, the slender body having triangle cross section configuration can have weakest reflected shock wave in three TSTO models.
