AbstractIn the LEO environment, the arcing occurs on the solar array surface when solar array is operated at high voltage. The mitigation techniques against arcing for LEO satellite solar array are developed. Some test coupons were made and arc mitigation ability was tested. The tests were performed in a vacuum chamber which simulates LEO plasma environment. In this paper, the ability for arc mitigation in LEO plasma environment is reported.
