AbstractNew concept of next generation TSTO space transport system is described from the view point of the aero- and aerothermodynamics research. Present status and studies for aerospace vehicles are overviewed through the numerical simulations compared with the wind tunnel tests and flight experiments in JAXA. Multi-disciplinary simulations, which will be essential to develop a new concept of TSTO system efficiently, are also introduced.
