AbstractGrowth interface of CdTe crystal grown from Te solution with THM (Traveling Heater Method) technique under static magnetic field was investigated by quenching technique during crystal growth. The experimental results indicated that the growth interface obtained with growth rate of 4 mm/day under magnetic field induction of 3 T was improved greatly during solidification, applying magnetic field with induction of 3 T was beneficial to improve a shape growth interface and micro-structure of CdTe.
