AbstractCentrifuge-induced artificial gravity with ergometric exercise has been employed for countermeasures to spaceflight deconditioning, and the effect of artificial gravity and ergometric exercise in humans has been studied. Recent publications on artificial gravity induced a ripe of the opportunity to international collaboration on the study of artificial gravity. NASA, DLR, and IBMP have decided to co-operate to run a multilateral artificial gravity project. Japan has a merit of previous artificial gravity study as the countermeasure for spaceflight deconditioning. It is proposed to form an organization of artificial gravity study team to participate in the International Multilateral Artificial Gravity Project to prevent space deconditioning among astronauts.
