Abstractソニックブームを半減させる技術の獲得に向けて小型の無人機供試体を用いた低ソニックブーム設計概念実証プロジェクトを進め,第二回飛行試験を2015年7月24日に実施した.D-SEND#2 供試体に搭載した搭載カメラについて仕様を定め,候補を選定し,確認試験を行い搭載カメラの構成を決定した.同時に供試体のプライムメーカのFHIやJAXA内との調整を実施して,搭載カメラを載せる位置やカメラカバーの形状,作業手順などを順次決めていった.第二回飛行試験においては,放球から着地までの映像を取得することができた成果について報告する.
The D-SEND project is a flight demonstration of low sonic boom design technology which is carried out by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. In the D-SEND#2 drop test, an unmanned experimental airplane was dropped around 30km altitude and glide over the sonic boom measurement point. The drop test was conducted on 24th July, 2015 at the Esrange Space Center, Sweden. On the experimental airplane, an onboard camera was installed in front of the vertical stabilizer. Several topics about the onboard camera were described in this report. A separated type of action camera was selected to satisfy requirements. Environment tests are conducted to check the behaviors at the high altitude environment. The images were obtained successfully from the balloon launch, ascent, high altitude floating, free flight to landing.
