Deep eutectic solvents based on ammonium dinitramide (ADN-EILPs) is expected as one of green monopropellant. Whereas ADN-EILPs has easy handling due to its high thermal stability, it would be more difficult to be ignited than conventional. Moreover, ADN-EILPs burns with high combustion temperature and oxidation atmosphere. It is necessary to discuss about the durability of igniters for ADN-EILPs. This study focused on CW laser heating ignition as the in-direct energy supply method, and proposed the new approach of CW laser absorption with carbon materials.
