抄録 | Transparent heaters are expected to be used in various applications, such as defrosting windows for vehicles and thermal therapy pads for health care. However, the most commonly used material of indium tin oxide (ITO) is facing great challenges because of its shortage, high cost and fragility. Therefore, various alternatives to ITO have been developed including carbon nanotubes and graphene. In particular, metal micro/nanomaterials, such as silver nanowires, have attracted widespread attention owing to their excellent conductivity and flexibility. In this work, the uniform fabrication of metal micro/nanomaterials on a transparent substrate in a large area was challenged by intentionally inducing ionic migration (IM) in a stepwise manner to develop a novel flexible transparent heater. The improved conductivity of the transparent substrate with the fabricated metal micro/nanomaterials indicates the superior efficacy of the proposed method. |
