| 抄録 | Man-powered airplane is powered by direct human energy which rotate propeller to provide thrust and lift force. In 2007 member of Airplane Design and Investigation Club, re-started their activities, design, manufacture and flight, for the man-powered airplanes. Flight of the first airplane was succeed, but the airplane was still heavy. Second airplane was designed as a lighter one and was failed to fly. Now, third airplane is designed by solving the former airplane's problems as reported in this paper, and is manufacturing. The club member are joining in their activities everyday as getting over with many difficulties and are intended to challenge the next year's Bird-man Contest which will be held at Lake Biwa. |
