| 抄録 | ETS-VIII (技術試験衛星VIII型、きく8号)は、2006年12月に打ち上げられた静止衛星であり、大型展開アンテナを用いた移動体通信実験が実施されており、また日本の衛星では初めて原子時計が搭載され、これを用いた衛星測位の基礎実験が行われてきている。情報通信研究機構(NICT)では、衛星測位の基礎実験の一環として、衛星-地上間高精度時刻比較実験を世界で初めて実施するとともに、その応用実験として衛星の中継機能を利用した地上-地上間高精度時刻比較、及び測距実験を実施してきている。
The Engineering Test Satellite type VIII (ETS-VIII) was a geo-synchronous satellite launchedon December, 2006. Using ETS-VIII, mobile telecommunications experiment using the large deployable antennas is executed. ETS-VIII is first satellite in Japan bearing atomic clocks, and basic experiments of satellite positioning are carried out. In National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), highly precise time and frequency comparison experiment between the satellite and the ground is executed for the first time in the world. Highly precise time comparison experiment between ground stations using an on-board bent-pipe function and ranging experiment are also executed. |
