Concentration fluctuations and the resulting separation, and the distribution function of the reversible fluctuations are approximately calculated. The relation of this distribution to the concentration-dependence of the free energy is discussed. Possible effects of fluctuations are discussed, and other attempts to explain the sub-cooling are described. |
