抄録 | The SKS (Superconducting Kaon Spectrometer) cryogenic system, which has many unique features in structure and operation style, has been operated for ten years since 1991, and has experienced various failures. For the future use and development, the reliability of the system was evaluated and the causes of failures were analyzed using records of past failures. The evaluation was made by applying a method used for the TRISTAN cryogenic systems. Based on a consideration of the analysis result of the causes, a database of past failures and a search system on the World Wide Web were newly developed to enable easy reference to take proper measures immediately. Several characteristic failures were also described for future reference. |
