微小重力下における魚の前庭順応機構:IML-2 における金魚の行動観察実験

Abstract

Adaptation of goldfish to microgravity and their readaptation after returning to earth were investigated in IML-2 (International Microgravity Laboratory-2) in July, 1994, using swimming movement and dorsal light reaction as indices. In this experiment, normal goldfish, both sides vestibule isolated goldfish and one side vestibule isolated goldfish were used. Dorsal light reaction was examined on switching of the light radiation direction. The data were analyzing in detail and only qualitative results were reported. During space flight, normal goldfish and both vestibule isolated goldfish showed a looping movement with the back inside. One side vestibulum isolated goldfish showed a curving posture toward the operated side. All the goldfish didn't show the dorsal light reaction on the switching of the light radiation direction.

1994年7月に行なわれたIML-2(第2次国際微小重力実験室)では、金魚の遊泳運動と背光反応を指標として、微小重力への順応および地上帰還後の再順応を調べた。実験には正常金魚、両側前庭摘出金魚、片側前庭摘出金魚を用いた。光の照射方向の切り換えに対する背光反応を調べた。詳細な解析は継続中であり、定性的な結果のみを記す。宇宙飛行中、正常金魚と両側前庭摘出金魚は、背を内側にしたルーピングを示した。片側前庭摘出金魚は、術側へ曲る姿勢を示した。全金魚は、光の照射方向の切り換えに対し、背光反応を示さなかった。
