抄録This report describes the activities and the progress of the laser-fusion related experiments at the authors' Laboratory at Gifu University during the period from April 2001 to March 2002. This report is divided into thirteen sections. The first section presents the construction of the Magnetic suspension system MINO-2 and evaluation of reliability and laser irradiation on a suspended Ni coated Plastic Micro Balloon (Ni-PMB). The second is to try active damping of a Ni coated Glass Micro Balloon (Ni-GMB) by optical forces. In the third section, the rotation movement of a magnetically suspended Fe sphere is proved. The forth presents decrease of the vibration amplitude of an electrodynamically suspended Plastic Micro Balloon (PMB) and successful suspension of a launched PMB. In the fifth, it has been confirmed experimentally how large optical forces are necessary to move a pellet in an electrically suspended condition in the air, and make a TEM01 doughnut mode laser. In the sixth the acoustic pressure distribution is measured and some samples are levitated. The seventh section shows that PMBS can be Ni coated by Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) with magnetization and with no thermal shape change. The eighth section describes fabrication of magnetic thin film on a PMB by the Ni electroless-plating and the Fe photo-Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). The ninth section is to measure the wall thickness of a PMB within 10 percent errors from the intensity profile in a virtual image. In the tenth section, the wall thickness of a PMB is measured within 5 percent errors in a pattern projection method. The eleventh presents the method of filling fuel gas and the validity of vibration for uniform Ar solid layer. The twelfth section shows the spread of spectrum width of an optical pulse in toluene. In the last, the high speed and high voltage Pockels cell driver composed of avalanche transistors is made.
