| 抄録 | TAMA is a five year project involving almost all gravity physics researchers in Japan. It adopts a Fabry Perot type Michelson interferometer with premodulation and will be completed with recycling by March, 2000. The aim of this project is to develop advanced techniques needed for a future km sized interferometer and to catch gravitational waves that may occur by chance within the local group of galaxies.
TAMAは、日本のほとんど全ての重力物理研究者が参加する5か年計画である。そこでは、あらかじめ変調されたファブリーペロー型マイケルソン干渉計を採用し、それを繰り返し使用して、2000年3月までに計画を完成させる予定である。この計画の目的は、将来のkm級干渉計に必要な技術を開発して、わがローカルグループの銀河内で偶発する重力波を検出することである。 |
