| 内容記述 | This paper reports on the design, construction, and implementation of a new chopping secondary mirror system for the Kuiper Airborne Observatory. This observatory facility maintains a 0.91 m diameter telescope in a modified C-141 aircraft at the NASA Ames Research Center. This telescope is routinely used at stratospheric altitudes for astronomical observations at infrared and submillimeter wavelengths that are inaccessible from the ground. |
