内容記述 | The smooth high-frequency (SHF) component of the radio emission detected during the Voyager 2 encounter with Uranus (January 1986) is studied. An offset tilted dipole (OTD) investigation of the SHF emission at L shells is carried out within the range of the bursty source locations. A viable high L shell model is presented. It is suggested that Miranda, which reaches a minimum L shell at L = 5, may be related to the timing of several types of radio emissions. |
