抄録 | The BNL-E949 experiment aims to measure the branching ratio of the rare kaon decay K(+) to pi(+)nu(nu-bar) whose branching ratio is predicted to be 10(exp -10). One of the main background is the events with photons such as K(+) to pi(+)pi(0) or K(+) to mu(+)nu-gamma. In order to well suppress these backgrounds, the photon detectors cover the full 4-pi solid angle. In this talk, the online photon veto in the E949 trigger system will be described. |
