| 内容記述 | The Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment (SAGE II) is discussed. SAGE II was launched from the Space Shuttle in October, 1984 as part of the Earth Radiation Budget satellite and uses the solar occultation technique to measure the extinction of solar radiation caused by the earth's atmosphere. The solar radiance data are compared with data from ground-based systems, airborne missions, balloonborne in situ measurements, ancillary measurements, and other satellite systems. The SAGE II instrument, data processing methods, and correlative measurements program are examined. |
