内容記述 | The Shuttle Imaging Radar image simulator is described. The simulator consists of two programs. The first is an interactive program which checks imput data validity. The second performs the image simulation. The first step is the computation of the received power as a function of the geometry and the backscatter behavior of the target. The simulation of the speckle and the system effects is done within a second step. The last step is the generation of a displayable image (8 bit). The input program creates a file which contains all the necessary data. This file is taken by the simulation program. Therefore it does not need any further data and performs the time intensive simulation entirely automatically. Inputs are a digital terrain model and a reflectivity ground truth file. |
