抄録Distance measurement using FM-CW radar operation is considerable to be possible in optical frequency region. Laser diode fed by triangular electrical signal emits triangular frequency modulated light. Photo diode composed of Michelson interferometer detects beat frequency between the light reflected by reference mirror and the light reflected by target mirror. Beat frequency proportional to distance in case of the stopping target was measured by using FM-CW light. The Doppler shift frequency in case of the moving target distance was measured by non-modulated continuous-wave light. Added and substituted frequency between the Doppler shift frequency and the frequency proportional to the distance in case of the moving target was measured by using FM-CW light.
