| 内容記述 | Pristine highlands rocks, i.e., those which have retained the chemical characteristics they acquired from igneous processes, contain metal grains whose Ni and Co contents are distinct from those in most polymict, meteorite-contaminated rocks. The difference is mainly a result of the bulk Ni/Co ratios of pristine rocks being much lower than those of chondritic meteorites. The compositions of metal grains thus provide a rapid and effective criterion for the recognition of pristine highlands samples. |
