| 抄録 | 大阪ガス(株)では、宇宙通信株式会社のスーパーバード衛星を介し、本社に設置した衛星通信用親局を中心とし、高圧ステーションなどに設置した衛星通信用子局(VSAT)との間で、TDM/TDMA(時間分割多元接続/時間分割多重)方式によってテレメータ/テレコントロールデータと音声情報を送受する衛星通信システムを構築した。特にテレメータ/テレコントロール機能を衛星に利用したのは我が国初めてである。回線品質が劣化した場合には地上バックアップ回線へ自動切替えを行う機能を装備している。
Mitsubishi Electric has delivered a satellite communications system supporting telemetry, telecontrol and voice communications to Osaka Gas Company. The system links a satellite earth station at the company's head office with VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) at high-pressure stations via TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) modulated signals relayed by a Super Bird satellite. The satellite is owned by Satellite Communications Corporation. The system is Japan's first telemetry/telecontrol application to be implemented via satellite. The bit error rate of the satellite link is monitored continuously, with automatic switching to backup terrestrial lines should the satellite lines become inoperable. |
