| 内容記述 | On the basis of data obtained in encounters of Venera 4, Mariner 5, Venera 6, and Mariner 10 with the planet Venus, it is generally accepted that the solar wind interacts directly with and is deflected by the Venus dayside ionosphere. The observations and theories related to this interaction are discussed. Attention is given to the trajectories of the four spacecraft, fluid model bow shock and obstacle boundaries of Venus, plasma and magnetic field data obtained during the Mariner 5 and 10 Venus encounters, the electron density profile of the dayside ionosphere on the basis of Mariner 5 and 10 data, and a Mariner 10 ionosphere model. |
