| 内容記述 | Remote observations of Venus are reviewed. The strongest inferences of cloud properties can be drawn from polarization data which provide information about cloud particles near 68 km. Particle properties are not as well determined at higher and lower levels. If the clouds are generated photochemically from reduced sulfur species, the supply of O2 may be an important constraint on cloud production. Vapor-pressure data reviewed, and it is shown that deep clouds cannot be H2SO4-H2O aerosols unless the mixing ratios of both H2SO4 and H2O approach 0.001 below 50 km. |
