| 抄録 | Time and frequency are the most basic physical quantities which support the modern science and technology. They can be measured most accurately among other physical quantities, and various measuring instruments which deal with time and frequency are supplied. In this paper, the basic concepts, accuracy and stability of time and frequency, which are necessary to evaluate and compare the results obtained by using these instruments, are explained.
時間および周波数は現代の科学技術を支える基本的な物理量で、あらゆる物理量の中で最も高精度に計測が可能であり、関連する高性能の計測機器が供給されるようになっている。これらの計測機器やそれを使って得られる計測結果を評価し、比較する際に基本となる概念である周波数の確度と安定度について概説する。 |
