抄録 | The electromagnetic (EM) and hadron longitudinal cascade shower fluctuations have been studied. The showers were created by electron and pion beams with energies of 1, 2, 3 and 4 GeV at KEK. A prototype calorimeter consisting of 4 mm-thick Pb plates and 2 mm-thick scintillator plates was used for the observation of the showers. Investigated is the shower fluctuation for EM shower and hadron shower by using a correlation matrix. Furthermore, the shower fluctuations behavior is formulated with the use of this matrix, especially for hadron shower. For checking the analysis of experimental data a Geant4 simulation is used. |
