内容記述 | Using the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory (CGRO)/burst and transient search experiment (BATSE) hard X-ray data together with GHz radio monitoring data, a long term study was performed on the unusual X-ray binary Cyg X-3. This study resulted in the discovery of a relationship between the two wavebands. The combined data show that the radio emission is linked to the hard X-ray production. Radio flares, preflare low radio states and quiescence radio emission can be associated with changes in the hard X-ray intensity. Jet production is directly related to changes in the hard X-ray emission. |
