抄録 | The two-hit separation capability of a test drift chamber has been investigated using electron-positron pairs produced by bremsstrahlung photons. The test chamber has the same mini-jet-cell structure and slow gas mixture as the proposed central tracker for the Joint Linear Collider (JLC-CDC). The chamber can separate two hits that are 1 mm apart with approximately 74 percent efficiency and the separation efficiency becomes almost 100 percent above the two-hit distance of 2 mm. |
