AbstractTo clarify characteristics of lightning stroke to power distribution lines, experimental studies were done on discharge characteristics of a rod-bare wire gap and a rod-insulated wire gap by IMV impulse voltage generator. 50 percent flashover voltage of a rod-insulated wire gap is higher than that of a rod-bare wire gap under negative impulse voltages (1.33/49, 260/3,000 microsecond) and a positive lightning impulse voltage (1.33/49 microsecond). From experiments on characteristics of lightning stroke attraction, it is clarified that an insulated wire is more unlikely to attract lightning hits than a bare wire. Also to clarify damage of lightning stroke point to power distribution lines for large current, experimental studies were done to superimpose impulse voltage (1.33/49 microsecond) and large impulse current to a rod-bare wire gap and a rod-insulated wire gap. Negative polarity stroke were inclined to intensify penetration destructive power than positive one.
配電線への雷撃特性を解明するために、1MVのインパルス電圧発生器と裸電線および絶縁電線との間の空間の放電特性を実験によって検討した。絶縁電線の場合における50%フラッシュオーバ電圧は、負極性雷インパルス電圧(1.33/49、260/3,000マイクロ秒)および正極性雷インパルス電圧(1.33/49マイクロ秒)のもとにおいて、裸電線のものよりも高かった。雷撃吸引特性に関する実験から、絶縁電線は裸電線よりも雷撃を吸引し難いことが明らかになった。さらに、大電流による配電線の雷撃点損傷を解明するために、インパルス電圧(1.33/49マイクロ秒)とインパルス大電流とを裸電線および絶縁電線との空間に重畳印加する実験を行なった。負極性雷撃の方が正極性雷撃よりも貫通破壊力が強い傾向があることが判明した。
