内容記述 | The moon and its relation to earth and sun is analyzed. It is shown that the moon was formed at comparatively low temperatures, heated on its surface by external heat sources, cooled sufficiently and at adequate depth to permit large craters to retain negative gravitational anomalies, and to support mass concentrations on the rigid interior. Moon soil resulted mostly from ash flow and was remelted in limited amounts by radioactive heat. Evidence for living or fossile forms on the moon has not been found. |
