AMSR/AMSR-E校正検証用マッチアップデータ

Abstract

2002年打ち上げ予定のAMSR(高性能マイクロ波放射計)および2001年打ち上げ予定のAMSR-E(AMSR for EOS(地球観測衛星))の校正検証に関して、整備予定のマッチアップ・データについて述べた。AMSR-TMI(TRMMマイクロ波観測装置)はAMSRの輝度温度を評価する。AMSR-GTS(世界通信組織)は通信網を通じて収集された全球上の各種気象データである。AMSR地上設置型マイクロ波放射計は積算水蒸気量プロダクトと積算雲水量プロダクトの検証用に作成した。この他のいくつかのマッチアップ・データについて紹介した。これらのデータセットを速やかに生産し、アルゴリズム開発研究者に提供する予定である。

Match-up data sets prepared for the calibration and verification of AMSR (Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer) and AMSR-E (Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer for EOS (Earth Observation Satellite)) are described. AMSR and AMSR-E will be loaded on the satellites to be launched in 2002 and 2001, respectively. AMSR-TMI (TRMM Microwave Imager) estimates brightness temperature of AMSR, and AMSR-GTS (Global Telecommunication System) is the collection of various global meteorological data collected via telecommunication networks. AMSR ground-based microwave radiometer is used for the verification of accumulated water-vapor products and accumulated cloud water products. Several other match-up data sets are presented. These data sets will be produced and offered to investigators of algorithm development in the near future.
