抄録 | A simple mathematical model of the opposite currents in chemical reactors is considered-the stationary boundary layer approximation for two immiscible flows. The governing equations for each flow are of parabolic type but the type of the whole system is non-parabolic because of the conditions of conjugation for tangential velocities and forces. By substitution, the system is reduced to system of ordinary differential equations. A difference scheme for solving the latter is employed and featuring examples are elaborated numerically. |
