| 抄録 | 1998年10月8日の夕方に顕著なジャコビニ流星群が日本全国で観測された。観測された時間は予測に対し8時間以上早いものだった。堂平観測所、国立天文台においてビデオによる観測を行った。幸運にも夜間は天気が良く、51個のジャコビニ流星が記録できた。流星群の出現極大はおよそ14時(世界時)から14時20分(世界時)であった。極大時のフラックスは1.12×10(exp -5)/(平方キロメートル・s)であり空間密度は4.77×10(exp -7)/立方キロメートルであった。
An extensive Giacobinid meteor shower was seen in the evening of October 8th, 1998, all over Japan. It was more than 8 hours earlier than the estimated time. A video observation at Dodaira Observatory, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan was carried out. Fortunately it was very fine of all night, and 51 Giacobinid meteors could be recorded. The shower maximum was around from 14 hour 00 minutes to 14 hour 20 minutes (UT). It was found that the maximum flux rate was 1.12 x 10(exp -5)/(km(exp 2) s) and the maximum spatial density was 4.77 x 10(exp -7)/km(exp 3). |
