内容記述 | THE SAFE DISPOSAL OF THE HIGH-LEVEL WASTES IS A KEY PUBLICCONCERN FACING THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY IN JAPAN.THE POWER REACTOR AND NUCLEAR FUEL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION(PNC) IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENTNEEDED TO ENSURE THE SAFE DISPOSAL OF THE HLW. AS AN INTEGRALPART OF THE PNC'S HLW PROGRAM,PNC INITIATED THE PERFORMANCEASSESSMENT MODEL VERIFICATION / DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM,ENTRY (THEENGINEERED SCALE TEST AND RESEARCH FACILITY).IN ENTRY PROGRAM,CONSTRUCTION OF A VIRTUAL IMAGE WHICHREPRESENTS THE UNDERSTANDING OF PHENOMENA RELATED TO PERFORMANCEOF GEOLOGICAL DISPOSAL SYSTEM IS ESSENTIAL.NUMERICAL SIMULATION IS TO BE UTILIZED FOR THIS PURPOSE ANDEXPERIMENTS DESIGNED TO REALIZE THE MATHEMATICAL DESCRIPTION OFPHENOMENA WILL VERIFY CONSISTENCY AND COMPLETENESS OF THEFORMULATION.THIS REPORT DESCRIBES PRESENT STATUS OF FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:-IDENTIFICATION OF KEY TECHNICAL ISSUES THAT CORRESPOND TOTHE GAP BETWEEN THE PRESENT UNDERSTANDING OF PHENOMENA ANDMODELS-SURVEY OF THEORI 著者所属: 日本原子力研究開発機構(JAEA) |
