抄録 | We have observed sea and ground clutter containing a target (a thermal power plant) using an S-band radar with a frequency of 3.05 GHz, a beamwidth of 1.8 deg, a pulsewidth of 0.5 μs, and a pulse-repetition frequency of 1,600 Hz. We have compared the estimation accuracy of partial Q-Q plot of log-normal with Weibull distributions for such clutter. We have found that the sea and ground clutter amplitudes obey the log-normal and Weibull distributions with the shape parameters of σ= 0.380 to 0.636, and c = 3.26, respectively, for small data within the beam width of an antenna. And the small data containing a target obey the log-normal distribution better than the Weibull distribution. |
