抄録 | This paper presents the statistical results on comparison of experimental strength data and design formula for steel structural members. The steel columns and beams are governed by local and overall buckling. Author proposed a simple method for evaluating ultimate strength of thin-walled steel members in the past. The resistance factors are calculated from the SGST Format about the Specification of Highway Bridges in Japan and the proposed method by author. |
