抄録 | Imaging diagnostics is quite useful in studying the interaction of the RMP field and magnetically confined plasmas. Estimate of the deformation of the plasma using the tangentially viewing 2D VUV camera system is proposed. If there is gradient in the radiation profile at the rational surfaces, deformation of the flux surface can be detected. It is also possible to distinguish the kink-type response and tearing-type response. |
