抄録 | The transverse uniformity of a laser-ablation plasma flow transported through an axial guiding magnetic field was investigated. The transverse profiles of the plasma ion flux were measured by a Faraday cup and compared with simulation results based on the collective focusing model. We found that the plasma ion current density increased with increasing axial magnetic field. We also confirmed that when the guiding magnetic field existed, the transverse profile of the plasma ion flux was slightly modulated in contrast to the uniform profile obtained without the field. |
