教科情報の教員養成における図書館利用の支援の検討

Abstract

高等学校教科情報の教員には情報リテラシー能力が求められる。図書館を活用する能力はその一環である。しかし、実際には教科情報の教員を目指す学生が図書館を充分に活用できていない。本研究の目的は、図書館を活用した教科情報の授業を計画し実施できる教員の養成に向けて、まずは教員志望の学生が図書館を活用する能力を身に付けるために有効である可能性のある支援を明らかにすることである。その結果、主に以下の４点が明らかとなった。①従来より実施している入学時の図書館ガイダンスには一定の効果が見られると同時に, 調べ学習を実施する中で個別に司書が支援することで, 学生が実際に図書館を活用できるようになる可能性があること②図書館の機能を活用する必然性のある課題および学習の流れを想定した調べ学習を体験することにより, 学生が一定の成果に到達できる可能性があること③司書および授業者が学生と一緒に書架へ行き資料を選ぶ, 一緒に資料を読み理解を深める等の支援をくりかえすことで学習の成果が得られる可能性があること④総じて, 学生は当初, 調べ学習に負担を感じている様子が見られたが, 最終的には得るものが大きかったと全員が実感していたこと。

Informatics teacher is required to have the information literacy. The ability to utilize the library is part of it. However, students don't understand how to use the library. This research will clarify how to support library utilization for teacher training. There are three points. 1) Knowledge of libraries, 2) Specify search term, 3) Provide as much support as possible. As a result, the following four have been clarified. 1) Certain effects are seen in the library guidance for freshman. However, students will be able to utilize the library by individual assistance by the librarian in study learning. 2) Possibility of students to achieve certain results by experiencing inevitable tasks utilizing libraries and study learning assuming the flow of learning. 3) Librarians and teachers go to the bookshelves with students, pick materials, helping to deepen understanding by reading materials together. The possibility that student's learning outcome can be obtained by repeating this. 4) Overall, the students first seemed to be burdened with the study learning. But everyone said finally got a great one.
